To permanently clear your call history, delete your phone from your car\u2019s Bluetooth before you sell your car. Double-check to be sure your contact list is removed, too\u2014if it\u2019s still there, delete it manually. The next owner won\u2019t be able to see any of your phone information, including your call history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, clearing the call history from your car\u2019s Bluetooth while still using your phone can be a bit complex. Some cars allow you to delete your call history from the Bluetooth settings, but others will require you to un-sync your phone before you can delete your call history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the \u201cDelete Call History\u201d button isn\u2019t working<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019ve already tried the \u201cDelete Call History\u201d option in your car\u2019s infotainment system, there may be a setting that\u2019s preventing it from working.
