Does Enterprise run your license? Will I be able to rent a car from them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Answer:<\/strong><br>Whether you\u2019ll be able to rent a vehicle from Enterprise depends on what type of trouble you\u2019ve been in. If you only have tickets on your record, you\u2019ll probably be fine \u2014 Enterprise doesn\u2019t check your driving record. They will verify that your license is valid, so you can not rent a car from Enterprise if you have a suspended license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Does-Enterprise-check-your-driving-record?\">Does Enterprise check your driving record?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Wondering if Enterprise checks to see if your license is suspended? Yes, they do. If your license isn\u2019t valid, either due to suspension, expiration or any other legal restrictions, Enterprise will not allow you to rent a vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, they do not run a background check to see your driving record the way that many other rental car agencies do. Your recent traffic violation shouldn\u2019t be an issue with Enterprise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"What-are-Enterprise\u2019s-license-requirements?\">What are Enterprise\u2019s license requirements?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You must show a valid, unexpired driver\u2019s license when you rent a car. It has to be an original, physical card \u2014 you can\u2019t use a photocopy or a digital license.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can not rent a car from Enterprise using a learner\u2019s permit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can\u2019t rent a car if your license has a restriction that requires you to use a breathalyzer before you drive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Can-someone-else-rent-a-car-for-me?\">Can someone else rent a car for me?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can only drive an Enterprise vehicle if:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You\u2019re the primary renter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You\u2019re the the spouse or partner of the primary renter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You\u2019re named as an additional driver on the rental policy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In any of these cases, you must hold a valid driver\u2019s license and meet Enterprise\u2019s age requirements.
